Terms of Service
Please read these Terms carefully before using Lumory. By using our service you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. The Service
Lumory provides AI-assisted and manually-retouched photo restoration services. You upload a photo, we restore it, and you receive a digital download. Physical products (canvas prints) are fulfilled and shipped by our printing partner.
2. Free Preview
Every uploaded photo receives a free watermarked preview. The preview is provided "as-is" and may not reflect the final quality of a paid restoration. We make no guarantee that the preview will meet your expectations.
3. Pricing & Payment
- Digital restoration files are charged at the price displayed at checkout.
- Canvas print prices vary by size and are displayed on the product page.
- All prices are in USD and include applicable taxes where required.
- Payment is processed securely by Shopify Payments / Stripe.
4. Refund Policy
We want you to be happy with your restoration. If you are not satisfied with the quality of your digital file, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will either redo the restoration or issue a full refund — no questions asked.
For canvas prints: if the item arrives damaged or defective, we will replace it at no cost. Refunds for change-of-mind on printed products are not available once production has begun.
5. Intellectual Property
- You retain full ownership of any photos you upload. By uploading, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process the image solely for the purpose of providing the service.
- You confirm you have the right to upload the photos (e.g. you own them or have permission from the copyright holder).
- We do not claim any ownership over your photos or the restored versions we produce for you.
6. Prohibited Use
You may not use Lumory to upload images that are illegal, obscene, defamatory, or that infringe on the rights of others. We reserve the right to refuse service and delete any such content without notice.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lumory shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim.
8. No Guarantee of Results
Photo restoration results depend on the quality and condition of the original image. While we strive for the best possible outcome, we cannot guarantee a specific level of detail recovery for severely damaged or low-resolution photos.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
