Lumory ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

  • Photos you upload — the image files you submit for restoration.
  • Order information — name, email address, and payment details when you make a purchase (payment is processed by Shopify Payments / Stripe and is never stored on our servers).
  • Usage data — anonymous analytics such as page views and browser type, collected via Shopify's built-in analytics.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To restore and return your photos.
  • To process and fulfill your order.
  • To contact you about your order if needed.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your photos or personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Photo Storage & Deletion

Uploaded photos and restored results are stored securely on Cloudflare R2 (US-based cloud storage). Preview files are accessible only via a private, unguessable link. We automatically delete uploaded originals and restored files within 30 days of your upload date. Purchased high-resolution files are stored for 90 days after delivery.

4. Cookies

We use essential cookies required for the Shopify storefront to function (cart, session). We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following trusted third-party services to operate Lumory:

  • Shopify — e-commerce platform and payment processing
  • Cloudflare R2 — secure cloud file storage
  • Google Gemini API — AI-assisted photo restoration
  • Vercel — serverless function hosting

Each provider operates under their own privacy policy and data processing agreements.

6. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

If you are located in the EU, UK, or California, you have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request deletion of your data and any uploaded photos.
  • Withdraw consent at any time.

7. Children's Privacy

Lumory is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
